Korektor - A New Tool for the Analysis and Correction of Texts
Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics at the University of Charles University in Prague developed a new tool for the analysis and correction of texts.
Korektor program is the only program developed at the Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics that analyzes texts on the computer. Korektor program can process texts on multiple input languages and languages of different versions of a given text, including the older and the newer versions of a text, texts from a given language, and others.
Korektor software consists of two main parts, a module for automatic detection of spelling errors and a module for correction.
What makes the Korektor program unique is the ability to easily recognize a text for the purposes of correction.
The program allows either directly correcting the content or showing a dialog with suggested corrections.
The Korektor extension for editable input fields (input fields that allow a user to edit or correct the text) allows using Korektor service on any editable input fields of web pages.
The Korektor Spellchecker extension is a free add-on for the editing component of many online websites. It allows using Korektor service (spellchecker and occassional grammarchecker developed at Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics, Charles University in Prague) on any editable input fields of web pages.
